It is sooo cold

It is so cold that we have to wear silly hats in the house. I really prefer warmth, but we have little of that right now. Seriously, I am bundled up today as I study for my Psychometrics final exam. I have spent a lot of time studying validity, and I hope I remember everything.

This semester’s seminar is over

As a doctoral student, part of my job is to present my current research work to the faculty of the department.  I am supposed to do this once a year, but there are so few doc students right now that I will probably have to do this every semester.

Academic Writing is Teaching me how to be a Graduate Student

I am taking a class this semester about how to write academically.  The class is quite small because there was a limit to 12 students, and the waiting list was almost 20 students. Today in church we were talking about the importance of staying true to our covenants and sticking to our values. It is in this manner that we find peace in our lives and keep the Holy Ghost with us. You might say that by living our values, we follow our conscience and maintain peace in [...]
