Now that I have a little free time, I am working in my garden again. My garden is a favorite past time that has been oft neglected as a graduate student. However, most of my time has been spent working with the vegetable garden getting it prepared and planted. I now have to water it every day and fertilize it every other week. That’s about all I have time for right now because I am studying for my comprehensive exams.
I did decide to pull out my camera and take a few pictures of flowers in my back yard. What I did not notice until I opened the photos in Aperture was that several of my columbines have aphids. Now I have to find time to spray with my organic bug spray and work to kill off those pesky bugs.
