I use a little SpotBot to take care of spills that my kids leave on our too-light-colored carpet. The little SpotBot does a good job, and it has kept my head from figuratively exploding. Head explosions are a figurative risk because I hate dirty carpet. This disdain for dirty carpet can easily be traced back to growing up around a mentally ill mother who left all kinds of garbage on the floor. Having a “clean” floor makes me feel a little in control, if nothing else.
