Scanning the night away

Ben scanning

I had to scan a huge chapter for my Westminster College students to read. I needed Ben’s help to turn pages and hold the book on the scanner while I ran the computer. It took a long time, so Ben got bored and played a game on his iPod Touch while scanning.

It took over an hour to scan the chapter because it is over 60 pages, mostly images of eyetracking data. The chapter comes from the new book “Eyetracking Web Usability” by Jakob Nielson and Kara Pernice. I am excited to see how my student will present this chapter in class Wednesday night.
