Depth of Field

Depth of Field

I have talked about depth of field. This is a good example as you see the case come into focus. Depth of field is often manipulated by adjusting the aperture setting on your lens. You can adjust the depth of field to compensate for focus, so your focus ring is the only thing determining how sharp sections of your photo appear.

I am taking a class about how our brains process images. I am enjoying this class so far. Some of the readings talking about aperture settings that our brains establish when we visually focus on objects. I am looking forward to learning more from the readings. I have just barely scratched the surface the readings. This should be an interesting class.
