Ray and I were feeling guilty this morning about not decorating the house yet for Christmas. He and I went to lunch and when we returned, the Christmas tree was up and decorated with some Santa and other decor up in the front room. The tree skirt was even put around the base of the tree.
I then saw that kitchen dishes were done and the kitchen was cleaned with the dish washer running.
I found Ben and he said he had done all the work. I asked if that was a Christmas present to us and he said yes. Wasn’t that oh so nice for a 16 year old to do for his parents to relieve some of our stress?
This image is of a little bean bag snow man from my Christmas decor. It was actually the first thing I saw when we just walked in after lunch. He is a cute character that was precariously sitting on the edge of a glass table.

Haha–when I saw the heading “Ben decorated for Christmas” I thought it would be a funny picture of Ben all covered in christmas lights and tinsel. What a wonderful, thoughtful young man to do all that for you. It must have been a L-o-n-g lunch to get all that done. Hope you have the best holiday ever. Love ya!
