I am pretty sure my two cats are straight from heaven, and Ray would just about agree with me. They are the kindest, most forgiving, most loving creatures for us. Yet, they are independent and the perfect animals for such busy folks.
Oscar and Katie are finally good friends. They love to play together despite Oscar being twice the size of full-grown Katie. They chase each other around, and they hide and pounce on each other. It is fun to watch. There is also quite a bit of trust between the two of them. This is especially poignant to me because Oscar is all man: he is so territorial.
I discovered a wonderful video about an elephant and a dog who are the very best of friends. It is definitely worth a watch.
