My second semester teaching undergraduates

I am learning the difficulties and joys of teaching undergraduates.  Many of them are young and idealistic, but at the same time they are not mature enough to realize how important and unique they are in attending a higher education institution.  Many do not realize how fortunate they are and how valuable their learning is.

Today’s Ph.D. comic states one of the issues that comes up with some of my students.

What Undergrads Say

However, I have many accomplished and amazing students who go the extra mile and want my support rather than taking advantage of me. :)

    Laura,
I was just checking in and saw this one. I HAD to share it with my husband Mike who teaches undergrads exclusively.
