Studying more efficiently

A New Desk

A couple of weeks ago, I got so frustrated when working on my stats homework. I was trying to hand crunch factorial design, but I had no room for all the class notes, the textbook, my calculator, all kinds of pages for the assignment spread out, and my computer with SPSS installed. I got so frustrated that I cried with frustration.

So while Ray was on his way back from Idaho from Kayleigh’s indoor track meet, I called RC Willey and ordered a big enough desk for my needs. It was half price, yet it is oak. So when Ray came home, I made him turn right around and go with me while we picked up the 3 huge boxes.

Ultimately, they made a beautiful desk for me. Thank you guys!

This desk has made it possible for me to do my stats in such an efficients manner with all my resources at my fingertips that I have completed my stats homework by myself for 3 weeks! Quite a feat for a woman who couldn’t barely one problem by herself last semester.

I used my new desk today to get my stats second midterm exam done in record time. I felt comfortable at my desk while working on perplexing and difficult problems. The only problem with that is that I have to drive back up to school to drop off the test. Worth the effort.

A new rolling backpack

I got a new Eddie Bauer rolling backpack to not only use for checking my luggage, but I will also use it to carry my computer and books at school. I am still healing from my surgery, and this light-weight backpack is the ideal solution. It is bigger than my regular backpack so it will hold more books and notebooks, oh and my computer with cord, mouse, etc.
