The New Beetle
So 3 days after getting the new Beetle, the engine light went on. Yesterday when I got in the car, it wouldn’t start after several tries and then it started reluctantly with a terrible idle and the engine light flashing. That flashing engine light is bad! So I gave it some gas, which shouldn’t be needed for a fuel injected car, and the idle improved and the light stopped flashing.
I left the engine running and called Dave Strong’s VW right away. I guess I talked to a new service person because she told me they could help me for 2 weeks and they had no loaner cars for me. Blah! What was I supposed to do! I told her 3 more times that I bought the Beetle 1 week ago and they had better at least take a look at it right away
She then told me I might get some help from my sales person; she then hung up rather than transferring my call.
