My Garden’s Insects

Taking Pictures

I have really enjoyed taking pictures of my flowers with insects on them. I mostly have snapshots of a bumble bee with a big red stripe on it’s butt. he he

Recently, I have also snapped some shots of honey bees. That is important because there is a national threat to the honey bee, and scientists don’t really know why. But I am supporting their “health” with my flowers. Ah, yet another excuse for growing all those beautiful, native flowers.

And, no, it has not been dangerous for me to get the camera as close to the bees as possible to get good photos.
